I still don’t believe it, but the folks at Modern Life have posted a flowchart for how to make big bucks by blogging. Basically the steps are as follows:

1. Start a blog
2. Put Google AdSense on it.
3. Write articles
4. Write better articles
5. Do crufty SEO, Digg submissions, etc.
6. Profit!

Personally, I don’t thing AdSense is the way to make fantastic cash, since the payouts are small on a per-click basis. There are better ways to make money with your blog, and I plan to talk about them in the future. Pieces of what I’ll be talking about include:

• Cost-Per-Action ads
• Paid posts
• Paid Reviews
• Selling products via your blog
• Leveraging your blog to sell other products that you produce.
