Blogging from a phone

So today the FedEx man came to drop off our two new phones, found that we were not home, left a note on the door, and went on his merry way. Luckily, I don’t drive all that much and thus didn’t mind the drive to Plum to pick up the package in the least.

The new phones in use are the Samsung SCH-I760 Smartphone and the LG enV2. Both phones come with QWERTY keypads, as well as the usual array of usual new cellphone goodies. So far, I’ve installed Evernote Portable, Twobile, and Traveling Blogger—a mobile blogging application that supports XML-RPC.

There will be more updates to come just as soon as I find some spare time & energy.

  • Grr. So I'm completely uncoordinated in working with disqus, posted the previous comment twice, and found that I cannot delete my own comments. Once they're in, they're in. Weird.
  • Whya
I drove to that FedEx site once, many years ago when living in Plum. Handed them the note that had been affixed to my door, and they handed me a large envelope. Addressed to a total stranger.

  • That FedEx store was out in the boonies, as far as Plum goes. I really wouldn't have been able to find it based on a map printout alone; not before the store closed, anyway. I had TomTom to direct me there, but I was only certain I was going in the right direction when I was following a FedEx truck.
